FACILITIES COMMITTEE

Facilities Chair Responsibilities


Shall perform the duties pertaining to their respective office and such other duties as may be approved by the Executive Board.
The Facilities Chair shall:

1. Keep MASL members aware of new developments in the area of facilities which may have applications in education and in the library media center.
2. Act as a liaison between MASL and other professional organizations on issues relating to library media center facilities.
3. Maintain, revise, and keep up-to-date the facilities requirements recommended in Maine School Library Media Programs.
4. Research topics relating facilities design, planning,
upgrading, and maintenance to library media center utilization.
5. Submit an annual budget, goals, and an annual report
