Schools across Maine and the country are increasingly leveraging digital content to promote reading and support literacy goals. Join us to learn more about eBooks and audiobooks, gain a deeper understanding of how to use digital content both in and out of the classroom, whether it’s by sparking a student’s interest in science fiction or providing a critical learning resource. Learn what you should expect from a digital content solution, including content curation, cost, ease of use, implementation and support services. And learn how you could benefit from joining the Maine School Shared Collection of digital content with OverDrive from a librarian already leveraging the collection.

MASL Host:

Amanda Kozaka, Cape Elizabeth Middle School

Speakers:

Tracy Waalkes, Overdrive Account Specialist

Debra Butterfield, Gardiner Area High School
