Toni Buzzeo, a School Library Media Specialist and writer, holds masters’ degrees in English (University of Michigan) and Library and Information Science (University of Rhode Island). She is the author of children's books and professional books, as well as audiobook reviews and many articles.
Toni is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic speaker at schools and libraries, as well as at conferences and staff development trainings. Her particular passions are collaborations between teachers and librarians, author/illustrator visits to schools and libraries, and children's literature. She also does school visits as a visiting children's author.
Toni lives in a colonial farmhouse in Buxton, Maine surrounded by many gardens, deer flies, and wild turkeys. She shares her home and 35 acres of the old farm, with her husband, Ken Cyll, her 19 year old son Chris, a sophomore at Williams College, and her Belgian sheepdog mix, Indy--Buxton’s best escape artist.
